Giving Access to Existing Users

You can allow someone who already has access to at least one site to access your site as well. This works well when one person is responsible for managing two households (such as your elderly father's house and your own), or when you simply want someone you trust (such as your sister) to be able to make changes to your system.

Note:   Only the site owner can give access to other users.

To give access to an existing user:

  1. On the Select User Type pop-up window, select Give access to an existing user, and click OK.
  2. The Give Access to Existing User pop-up window appears.

  3. Enter the username or email address (depending on the prompt) that the user signs in with on other sites.

  4. If you own more than one site, all of those sites appear next to Add to Sites.

  5. Select the site(s) to which you want to give the user access.
  6. The site where you are currently signed in is automatically selected.

  7. Click Save.
  8. You return to the Users page of the System tab, and the name of the user you added appears on the list.
