Taking Pictures or Capturing Video Clips Manually

You can take pictures or capture video clips manually when you want to capture the current scene, regardless of whether or not the camera is scheduled to take a picture or video clip at that time.

To take a picture or video clip manually:

  1. Click the Summary tab, if it is not already displayed.

  2. In the Cameras section, click next to the camera you want to use, or click the camera icon you want to use in the Home View section.

    3. The live video pop-up window appears.

  3. Click Take PictureClosed or Capture Clip.

    4. A message informs you that the picture or video is being captured and will be available soon.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Click the Summary tab, if it is not already displayed, or, if it is, refresh your browser.

    6. The new picture or video clip appears in the Cameras section of the Summary tab.
