ADT Pulse uses Z-Wave wireless technology to help your home's electronics talk to each other, and to you. It unifies them into an integrated network, and can be added to almost any electronic device in your house.

Z-Wave is a wireless technology used to provide remote control and automated operation of lighting, lock, thermostat and garage door controller devices in your home. The ADT Pulse system uses Z-Wave technology and works with compatible devices to turn lights on and off, raise and lower the temperature of the thermostat, control certain electrical appliances, and control door locks and garage doors. It’s what makes a smart home smart.

Because Z-Wave unifies all your home electronics into an integrated wireless network, there's no complicated programming or new cables to run. Your device is joined to the network and can communicate wirelessly with other Z-Wave modules. Then you can control your Z-Wave household remotely from a web-enabled computer or mobile device from almost anywhere in the world. Many Z-Wave enabled devices can be easily added to your ADT Pulse network, and even non-Z-Wave devices can be made compatible by plugging them into a Z-Wave accessory module.
